Berdoalah
Tetapi jika engkau berdoa, masuklah ke dalam kamarmu, tutuplah pintu dan berdoalah kepada Bapamu yang ada di tempat tersembunyi. Maka Bapamu yang melihat yang tersembunyi akan membalasnya kepadamu. (Matius 6:6)
Berdoa pastinya mengikutsertakan harapan dan keinginan yang kita serukan atau sampaikan kepada Tuhan. Doa yang diucapkan akan lebih teratur dan terkendali dibandingkan dengan doa di dalam hati saja. Matius 6:5 menasihatkan agar janganlah kita berdoa seperti orang munafik. Jangan berdoa supaya dilihat orang bahwa kita adalah orang yang saleh.
